Son Truong, MD

Dr. Son Truong received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency. Dr. Truong completed his fellowship training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Dr. Truong is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine. He has special interests in COPD; asthma; pulmonary hypertension and other pulmonary vascular diseases; sarcoidosis; interstitial lung disease/ pulmonary fibrosis; pulmonary autoimmune /connective tissue disease; lung nodules/ mediastinal diseases/ lung cancers; pleural disease; occupational lung diseases; and tuberculosis.

Dr. Truong is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Thoracic Society, and American College of Physicians – American Society of Internal Medicine.
